I have two new prints incoming : THE LIGHT THAT IS VERY CLOSE NOW and FORGIVE THE DUST. If you follow my work very closely these might ring a bell or two. Both of these ideas, words, and images have appeared in various forms the last several years, usually in a wheat paste collage or in paintings. A lot of times when I make things I want to make A LOT of that thing and send it out into the world to hang in bedrooms and libraries (the dream!) and that’s what this is about. I made new versions, for silk screen. It’s like a copy of a copy of a copy but I made all the copies myself with my hands. Do you ever sing a song and want to sing it over and over? it’s a similar feeling. You get it. I am very excited about these prints and it feels like i’m giving these things their due. What else can I do? I think this is all very important otherwise what would I do with myself? I could talk about them (and other things) for a long time but i’ll save that for the audiobook. These also function as a set so I have made a special deal when you get both.
